Robert and Tonya Bronaugh both gave their lives to the Lord at a young age, and their walk with Christ has shaped every part of their journey. Married and blessed with eight children, they know firsthand the importance of faith and family.

Both Robert and Tonya served in the military, where they not only built successful careers but also poured into the lives of young adults—mentoring, guiding, and sharing the love of Jesus. Now retired, they count it a blessing to lead the Teen Crusaders for Christ ministry at Calvary Gospel Church.

With a deep passion for today’s youth, Robert and Tonya are committed to helping teens grow in their relationship with Christ while navigating the challenges of social media, peer pressure, and a world filled with distractions. Their mission is to create a safe, welcoming space where teens can strengthen their faith, build lasting friendships, and develop a foundation in God’s Word. 

The Teen Crusaders for Christ is a ministry dedicated to empowering young people to live boldly for Jesus in today’s world. We believe teens are not just the church of tomorrow—they are a vital part of the church today. Our mission is to provide a safe, Christ-centered environment where teens can grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and discover their God-given purpose.

Through engaging Bible studies, worship, fellowship, and fun activities, we help teens navigate the challenges of life with a strong foundation in God’s Word. Whether it’s overcoming peer pressure, understanding truth in a culture of confusion, or finding encouragement in daily struggles, Teen Crusaders for Christ is a place where every teen belongs and can thrive.

Looking for a place to hang out, connect, and recharge at the end of the week? The CGC Friday Night Kickback happens on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month and is the spot for teens to come together in a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment.

Each Kickback is packed with good food, music, games, and real conversations that help build friendships and grow in faith. It’s the perfect mix of fun and purpose—a time to relax, laugh, and leave encouraged.
