Timothy R. Wood serves as the leading Pastor of Calvary Gospel Church and President of Calvary Christian College in Waldorf, Maryland.
At the young age of ten, God called him to the ministry — throughout his teenage years, he preached in local churches around the Baltimore region. At the age of 16, he studied at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. A year later he was licensed to preach with the Church of God denomination.
He continued his schooling at the University of North Alabama where he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Logos College in Jacksonville, Florida and his Doctorate degree in Christian Education from Faith Theological Seminary in Tampa, Florida.
Throughout his ministry, he has served as an Evangelist, Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, Christian Education Director, Elementary School Principal, High School Teacher, and a College Professor of Biblical Studies.

Pastor Richard L. Foster Oversees the Senior Adult Ministry at CGC. Richard oversees the Greeting Ministry, the Usher Ministry, Liturgical Ministry, Hospitality, and Cornerstones. Additionally, he sponsors the Thanksgiving Basket community outreach program, and organizers many of the day and overnight adventures in travel. Pastor Foster is the lead counselor for pre-marital, and martial counselling, adolescence, and becoming certified for alcohol and substance abuse counselling.
